Types Of Blood Veins
Veins are the most important kind of blood vessel, all types of blood veins are very crucial part of a human body as they carry oxygenated /deoxygenated blood from various parts to the heart and vice versa. Major types of blood veins are pulmonary vein, systemic veins, superficial veins, deep veins these are responsible for the proper working of a human body as if any one of them gets blocked the blood flow gets interrupted.
All the type of blood veins is very delicate and thin as they carry blood throughout the body and keep our body working in a proper manner. Blood veins carry de-oxygenated blood from lungs to heart and oxygenated blood from the heart to all other parts of the body.
Let’s talk about the most commonly known to all blood vein pulmonary vein which is responsible for carrying blood from lungs to heart it is responsible for transferring oxygenated blood to the heart towards its left atrium to get purified . Similarly other veins are responsible to transfer deoxygenated blood from various parts of the body to the heart for purification and take purified/oxygenated blood to the different parts of the body.
One of the blood veins which is hidden and is only found only around the knee and is very important for the lower limb, this vein is responsible to carry blood from the heart to the lower limb and vice versa, this type of blood veins is named as superficial vein/ great saphenous vein.
One of the most delicate blood veins is superficial vein as it is located very close to the skin surface, which we can see easily these veins are responsible to carry blood from the heart to various parts if the body and keep the skin hydrated with oxygenated blood. Now you must be thinking that skin got the blood lower limb got the blood, lungs got blood the only left over part is muscles which type of blood veins is responsible to do this work? The veins which are responsible for this work is called deep veins which are present deep into the muscle tissues to provide the oxygenated blood to the muscles and keep them working properly.
‘Type of blood veins’ present in the lower part of human body i.e. blood veins present in the legs are responsible not only to carry blood through and fro but are also responsible to counter attack the gravity force to avoid the backward flow of blood in the veins, if a person works at a place where he has to stand for a long time or give high-pressure over legs than the vein gets break such veins are called varicose vein. The same case is there with the veins transferring blood to the brain, if ever these veins fail to fight the gravitational force one gets unconscious and can even faint.
Hence, it can be said that blood veins are the thinnest but the most crucial part of the body which keeps human body they are responsible to carry 60-80 % of the blood from various parts of the body to the heart and vice versa.
