Anyone who uses Windows or has done so in the past would know that there are different types of windows user accounts and both of them are used for different purposes but in different ways. There is the computer administrator account and the limited one and both of them are used for various purposes, as the name suggests. While one of the two can be accessed by a wider number of users, the other can only be used by some people because of the fact that not many people have access to the account.

Of the two types the more accessible one is the Computer Administrator Account which you could use if you just switched on your laptop or desktop computer. These types of windows user accounts are used to bring about any changes in the way the software is run. Any changes that have to be introduced or brought in and any modifications that are introduced can be installed from this account. Any file that is not private can be accessed via these of the two types of windows user accounts as well and the account basically has access to all other accounts on the computer but it is the only account that does. Any account can be accessed and new users can be made and old or new ones can be deleted by these types of windows user accounts. The only downside is that the account type cannot be changed but everything else is controlled and done from here. Passwords can be reset from these types of windows user accounts too.

Since everything done from the computer administrator is related to the way the computer is administrated, there is a lot one can do from here.

Then, you’ve got the limited account and these types of windows user accounts are not used the same way that the computer administrator account is used because it has limited functions. You cannot download new software from these types of windows user accounts though, if anything was downloaded by the computer administrator, that can be used and accessed by these types of windows user accounts, instead.

Another of the various types of windows user accounts are the guest accounts that cannot be used to control anything and people with no account on the computer can use these types of windows user accounts. They are accessible to all and there are no limits or restrictions upon who can or cannot check these out as well.

The common thing in all types of windows user accounts is that you can change your account pictures or remove them. These are the three main types of windows user accounts and the most important is, obviously, the computer administrator account because without this one nothing new can be added to the computer and nothing old or new can be modified from it and it would be impossible to download new programs and functions that could be accessed on the other two types of windows user accounts either.
